When I heard from Conny and Marco that they were looking for a wedding photographer for their Boho wedding, I was really happy! I love the many details at Boho weddings: Macramé, vintage furniture, colourful rugs and many beautiful light sources such as fairylights and candles.
Conny and Marco had chosen the big old barn at the Holler winery for their Boho wedding. Completely decorated in the Boho style, it became a dream wedding location. The two exchanged vows on a sunny day, in this beautiful rural set-up in southern Styria. Strawbales topped with many cushions became a comfortable sofa and old grain sacks became rustic beanbags. A wedding in the barn promises rustic charm and elegant cosiness.
The groom with suspenders and bow tie and the bride in a white dress with lots of lace and tulle skirt – fitted perfectly into the vintage ambience.
The wedding ceremony took place in the open air under a large old tree. The tree is decorated with many lanterns and looks fabulous as a backdrop. Meanwhile the guests find protection from the sun under big paper umbrellas.
Not only the groom is visibly touched by the beautiful words of the celebrant. The live music opened the hearts of everyone. On the big swing in front of the green hills, in the maize field and nestled into the big peacock chairs you can enjoy the fairytale-like atmosphere that I am allowed to capture as a Boho photographer.
The old barn offers space for all the guests and promises a homely atmosphere. Here you can party until late into the night. Candles and sparklers accompany the wedding couple on the dance floor, when in the evening the wedding ends with a roaring celebration.
