Mountain Wedding in the Pinzonerkeller in the Dolomites

2 December 2021

I love mountain weddings! For Christin & Nico’s wedding in the Dolomites, we went to the mountains twice – once we took breathtaking pictures at the wonderful Pragser Wildsee (or Lago di Braies) at the Elopement and as if that wasn’t beautiful enough, we went to the Pinzonerkeller for the wedding. It is located in the middle of the South Tyrolean vineyard hills and exudes a wonderfully authentic and rustic charm!

Christin & Nico wanted very special wedding photos in front of a fantastically beautiful backdrop – an elopement photo shoot is really perfect for this. It means I have time to take beautiful couple photos in peace and quiet, without the wedding being in full swing at the same time. With its majestic backdrop: the mountains reflected in the lake and the romantic wooden boats, the Braies Lake offers a fairytale location for unforgettable wedding photos.

Christin & Nico’s boho summer wedding then took place in South Tyrol’s Pinzonerkeller. As a wedding photographer, I like to capture the special atmosphere of the surroundings – and that is really not difficult to find in the Dolomites. The old stone houses provide an authentic rustic backdrop mixed with olive trees and mountain panoramas – a great ambience for wedding photos, don’t you think?

There is something magical about a wedding in the Dolomites and the bride took everyone’s breath away with an elfin wedding dress with lace and tulle and a simple flower wreath on her head. The delicate bridal bouquet with pampas grass, eucalyptus and white flowers fitted beautifully into this wedding fairy tale.

The wedding ceremony under the open sky with bright sunshine and live music delighted everyone – and when a little boy brought the rings – the family atmosphere is perfect. Of course, a boho summer wedding can’t do without the typical decor – and so the bridal couple sits in large wicker armchairs, colourful Persian rugs are laid out and Moroccan poufs (or leather seat cushions) invite you to relax together in the most wonderful summer weather.

Of course, there is also a lot of partying going on! How wonderful that for tired dancing feet, flip-flops – white, of course – have been specially provided for the guests! Thanks to the Beer Station and typical Italian food, everyone feels good, the children put a smile on everyone’s face and the many fairy lights and candles bathe everything in a festive light.
