The old smithy at the Ravelsbach is very close to Vienna, but still in an idyllic location. The property was once a weaving mill and mother-of-pearl factory. Now the old forge has been transformed into a romantic dream location. Rebecca & Max wanted a dream in white. So the decorations and table settings were all in white, which fitted wonderfully into the old forge hall with its rustic wooden ceilings and beams. This romantic setting – surrounded by a large garden, lots of rose bushes and the little stream – made for a really beautiful place to celebrate.
Dream wedding at the Schmiede am Ravelsbach
At the Getting Ready, Rebecca & Max had their favourite people around them to calm them down as well as some bubbly before they were “transformed” into bride and groom. Rebecca wore a dress with lots of cute little flowers sewn on and a long tulle skirt. Her bridal bouquet consisted of white roses. Max showed up classically in a dark suit with a bow tie and a white rose in the lapel.
The church wedding was certainly remembered by everyone as a wonderful ceremony with family and friends, during which many of the guests were moved to tears. Afterwards, the couple was welcomed with a shower of white roses. Then they went in the classic “beetle carriage” – of course with cans tied to it – from the church to the old forge.
Wedding in Austria
The old smithy at Ravelsbach wants to combine the traditional with the modern and so a vintage wedding also succeeds in this ambience. In the courtyard of the old forge, the bar tables were already set up and the celebration could begin! In a great atmosphere, there was a lot of laughter and heartfelt happiness for the beaming couple. In the evening, when the fairy lights bathed the courtyard in a warm glow, the dancing began! The First Dance was wild and romantic at the same time and soon the dance floor filled up.
You want to get married on the outskirts of Vienna but still surrounded by nature? Then you should definitely check out the Schmiede am Ravelsbach!
